Gravitas Pour Homme 100ml/3.4fl.oz

I have been very impressed with the releases from Naughton&Wilson. I have two from him and I can tell you he’s doing it right. Keep up the good work!

What more can I say? A friend gave me a sample of Gravitas some time ago and since I finished that sample I haven’t been able to stop thinking about it! Classic yet modern gentlemanly scent profile, I generally don’t view this as a “crowd-pleaser” type of fragrance either but I’ve received some surprisingly positive compliments wearing this day to day. I don’t think it’s for everyone but it’s great quality and if you appreciate a good fougere, it’s hard to beat. Masterpiece.

The fragrance reminds me of Aramis JHL and to a lesser extent CK Obsession but done in a higher quality and modernised, less sweet way. It definitely smells of quality and the blending is super fine. I love the soapy aldehydic insence note. The only gripe I have is in the base, where I smell a hissy potent and unpleasantly woody molecule I am not fond of. I detect it on many fragrances, especially in Hermes Citron Noir and Bulgari Man Wood Essence but here it is less pronounced. Overall possibly my nicest purchase of 2024 and definitely a winner.

Wonderful warm dark spice for cold weather. I’ve been reaching for this one almost reflexively since I took shipment. Excellent all day wear and office appropriate.

When I found out that N&W were releasing a new fragrance, was instantly looking for the ‘Where to buy’ button. All of their previous scents have been so high end, I knew that Arezzo would not disappoint.
To me it’s another old school type fragrance, not too musky, not too leathery, think the balance is really spot on. This really compliments the other N&W fragrances.
Also what N&W do really well is the whole packaging, it really elevates the experience of wearing a top class fragrance. The box is fantastic, with its satin lining, the bottle is really solid and weighty, the atomiser is so smooth and to top it all is that regal looking bottle cap.
As I said, I love all of the N&W fragrances, I really appreciate how they don’t just saturate the market with boring, same-old scents, but take time to market and release bespoke scents.
Really looking forward to seeing what N&W come out with next, I know it will be stunning just like Arezzo, and I will be first in line.

Top quality

Lovely warm, boozy and leathery scent. Would appeal to most men. Not a ‘beast’ but a sophisticated, well blended, long lasting fragrance. Lovely.

Arezzo falls in line with the style of fragrances that Dan has released. I own all 5.
I pick up the resins, spices and fruit. Very sophisticated. If you like Naughton And Wilson's other fragrances, give this a try.

Opening is very fresh. The manadarin is lovely I wanted it to hang around for longer. But then the mid comes around and I get the brandy and plum lingering with the orris butter. Very gentlemanly and refined it then gets very base heavy the tobacco is really pleasant layered with incense. The patchouli and oud awakens the senses. This is not a harsh oud and is so wearable.
This is a straight up woodsy chypre style fragrance which will work so well in the colder months, although I have a feeling I'll wear this in warmer months too. It has that N&W signature with a nod to the elegance you come to expect. But far enough away for it to be unlike any of their previous releases.
This really does stand out on its own.
To label a fragrance to a certain demographic is difficult - because each to their own. But with this I would go out and say this is more male in their 30s+.
Autumn/winter is where I'd say would be appropriate to wear. Dressed up would be the ideal, but also office friendly.
As I write this I'm getting into the dry down and I can say this for me is where it is starting to truly shine. It just makes me smile and I can't wait to wear it on a night out over the Xmas season.
I had concerns that without sampling I may have something in the same ball park. I can safely say, I don't. My collection is coming along nicely and as a fragrance enthusiast this will be something that I will enjoy wearing. If I was out and smelled this on someone else it'd certainly get me asking 'What are you wearing?' It really is a beautiful fragrance and would urge anyone to make a purchase. Really well done to messrs Stephen, Naughton & Wilson. A fantastic release.

Bon Viveur is an absolute gem of a Men’s Classic fragrance! Its bracing and invigorating notes of Juniper Berry, Gin and Basil make for an aromatic charming fragrance. Love it! (cologniano_d)
